The Gotoh SD91 Kluson style tuners are the most common type we use in the Mojo and VSOP models. This tuner design

dates back all the way to 40’s, and it was originally made in USA. Nowadays there are many similar varieties

available, but the Gotoh SD91 (made in Japan) stands out from the crowd with the excellent build quality.

The SD91 is built the same way as the original – the pressed steel gear cover and baseplate

together with the lubricated gear make sure the tuners function smoothly, keep the tuning well and last long.

The SD91 is the classic choice – non-locking and with split posts, easy to

restring and use.
